Formerly the Kobe Shimbun Hall, we are a famous eel restaurant with over 50 years of history dating back to the Shumi-machi era. The eels we use are 100% produced in Toyohashi, Aichi prefecture. Veteran artisans open up the store every day to carefully grill up the eels on high-grade charcoal after slowly inserting steam, making them soft with plump meat and a crisp surface to create an extraordinary aroma and flavor. Our light sauce is a favorite of women. Our products are also popular as souvenirs.
