This time, we spotlight the rebear by Johnbull remake shirts, which have been sold exclusively in stores since the 2025 fall/winter season, and introduce the production process and charm of the shirts, which are made with attention to detail. The shirts are handmade and hand-selected by carefully checking each shirt to create a one-of-a-kind product. ■ Damage processing using grinder
Damage processing is performed using a grinder. The tip of the grinder is detachable, and is hand-held depending on the area to be processed. For this remake shirt, a mold is made for the main part to be cut, the garment is placed on the mold, and the grinder is applied to the three-dimensional mold with the handheld grinder to create damage according to the mold.
When damaging cuffs, collar edges, hems, etc., the damage is applied by holding the cuffs, etc. with both hands and applying the damage directly to the grinder after the grinder is attached to the main body.

Cut the damaged area and place a fabric covering.
The area where damage was done in the previous process is cut as a guide line. This gives the shirt a frayed appearance, as if it were naturally torn. The craftsman then decides on the color and detailed arrangement of the fabric for each shirt according to the material and pattern of the shirt. Double-sided tape is applied to the edges of the cut areas, and the fabric is placed so as not to shift the balance of the fabric.

Sewing of the placed fabrics with a special sewing machine
Sewing is done using a specialized sewing machine called a post sewing machine, which can easily sew three-dimensional parts. The return button is attached to the right side of the needle, and the right hand fingers are used to press the button while repeatedly moving back and forth to sew the fabric in a single pass. Starting with the selection of shirts in good condition, we manually damage the shirts, place the cover cloths, and sew up the shirts.
