Garmin to Release Its Latest Golf Laser Rangefinder, the "Approach Z10," on Thursday, June 11
NEWS

A key feature of the Approach Z10 is its ability to sync with compatible Garmin devices. It shares laser-measured distances in real time with your watch, GPS golf navigator, or the Garmin Golf app, helping you manage your game strategically. If the measured distance is on the fairway, it appears as a red arc on the watch; if it’s on the green, it appears as a yellow arc, allowing you to get a bird’s-eye view of the distance to your target.
The laser rangefinder’s viewfinder displays the distance from the pin to the front and back edges of the green. It features a PDLC display with black text that is easy to read even in bright outdoor conditions. It also displays the “PlaysLike Distance,” a recommended distance that accounts for elevation changes, and when paired with a compatible device, it calculates a recommended distance that takes wind and weather conditions into account.
It has a maximum measuring range of 1,200 yards and can measure distances to the pin flag up to 350 yards. With 6x magnification, you can measure distances while seeing fine details on the pin and fairway. It also features a Tournament Mode that turns off all assist functions, such as elevation data, making it suitable for competitive use. It runs on batteries and lasts for about one year (one season). It can also be attached to a golf cart for storage using the magnet on the side of the unit.
