Profile

A swing band formed mainly by graduates of Souai University.
The six-member group consists of Matsumoto, a classmate who was invited by Kawakami and Hasegawa, who established the Jazz Lab at a university specializing in classical music, and Yamashita, a junior, joined by Shionoya and Yoshida.
While they went their separate ways after college and played in different styles of swing bands, they performed together for the first time in about 10 years.
Since then, the band has played once or twice a year, but in 2020, after playing at New Suntory 5 in Osaka, the band started in earnest as a regular band at the restaurant.
A happy band full of entertainment with the experience they have cultivated and have been friends for many years.
Takuya Kawakami is a quiet man, but once he starts playing, he captivates the audience with his refined technique and unique style.
Takuro Yamashita is a mood maker and a man of many talents whose music draws the audience in.
Koji Shionoya's friendly, no-holds-barred personality makes the sound gorgeous with his exquisite ensemble skills, and once he takes a solo, his beautiful yet powerful performance keeps the audience riveted.
Despite her smiling pastel character, Yuka Matsumoto takes the viewer's breath away with the mesmerizing piano energy of her stand-up play.
Hikaru Hasegawa's solid, foundational presence, without flashy solos, puts the viewer at ease.
Masashi Yoshida's soft, palliative personality and aggressive, offensive rhythm uplift the viewer.
These unique members will present swing jazz popular in the United States in the 1920s and 1930s, with band arrangements and songs.
