2.7- Spring fair
NEWS
Based on the 2025 theme, "Anatomy of a Flower," the prints express the fragility and eternal beauty of flowers in nature. Unique floral and botanical prints from Unikko, Marimekko's signature floral prints, will celebrate the beginning of spring, concluding Unikko's 60th anniversary in 2024, and continuing the focus on the theme of flowers in 2025 with new techniques, colors, shapes and silhouettes for the collection will be introduced.
This spring, Japanese print designer Fujio Ishimoto's plant-themed prints from the 1980s and 2000s will be featured in the lineup, including Vire (Vire/ Breeze), Myski (Myski/ Musk), Suitsuke (Suitsuke/ Innocence), and other abstract prints by Ishimoto. In addition, the coloring of the collection will change with the changing seasons. The collection will begin with soft shades of soft rose and pale mint, then increase in vibrancy to scarlet, acid green, and sky blue, and finally the vibrant colors of flowers such as citrus, lilac, geranium, and rose will color the season.
From February 7 (Fri.), a specially designed fabric bag in Myski print will be given away (limited quantities) to customers who purchase products for 27,500 yen or more, tax included.
Myski's prints were created by Fujio Ishimoto based on flying flowers. Please visit Marimekko Store and the official online store in Japan to see the lineup at the timing of the unveiling of this spring's new items.
