Profile

~A Melody of Japanese and Western Sounds Woven by Two~ “Western Harp and Strings”
・Kaka Yasuda Violin
・Yukari Nagano, Piano

With a group name that combines the slightly nostalgic terms “yokoto” (piano) and “gen” (violin), they perform a wide-ranging repertoire spanning from Baroque to modern works.
Today, we’ll be featuring works primarily by Koichi Kishi, a composer with ties to Kobe.
A beautiful harmony where the modern scents of the early Showa period blend with exotic charm and Japanese aesthetic sensibility.
Please enjoy a soothing moment that makes you want to pause for a moment in the midst of your daily life.
