The vocal unit "Opera Andante" was formed by four female singers of the Kansai Nikikai and has been well received for its gorgeous and high quality performances.
Two members of the group will be joined by Kobe-based pianist Kosuke Sekiguchi, who will present a fascinating program of Japanese songs and operatic works.

In the Japanese song program, we will feature "Kata-mo no uta" by Yoko Kusuda, a composer from Kobe City.
Please pay attention to the beautiful and luminous music that accompanies the fresh poetry.

And in the opera works, "The Mercy of Emperor Tito" (composed by Mozart) will be performed with highlights and commentary.
This is an opportunity to hear the work ahead of the company's 10th anniversary performance on June 16.

Opera Andante

Formed in 2014 by four of their classmates from the Kansai Nikikai Opera Studio.
In May of the same year, the company held its flagship performance, "The Marriage of Figaro".
In addition to four opera performances since then, in 2021 he presented the concert series Vol. 1 "Four Women: Performing Japanese Songs", which attracted a great deal of attention.
He also held solo concerts at the Osaka Club, the Imperial Hotel, and other venues.
She has performed at the Hilton Hotel "Atrium Concert", Portopia Hotel "Countdown Concert", etc., all of which have been well received.
In addition to full-scale opera performances, they are also active in a wide range of other activities, including performances in small halls and at events.
On June 16, the company will hold its 10th anniversary performance, a performance of the opera "The Mercy of Emperor Tito".

Aya Nakano Soprano

Graduated from Osaka College of Music, Department of Vocal Music.
Completed the music major course at the same university.
He won the Encouragement Prize at the 23rd Wakayama Music Competition, the Excellence Prize at the 17th Kobe International Music Competition, and others.
She made her debut as a priestess in Mitsunaka Opera's "Aida", and has appeared in many operas including "The Magic Flute" as Samurai I and II, "Gianni Schicchi" as Nella, "Chip and the Dog" as Chip, "Thief and Old Miss" as Letisha, "Suetsumika" as a chamber maid, "Kiyohime" as a narrator, and many more.
Voice trainer for Osaka University Mixed Chorus and leader of Ensemble Cantabile (women's chorus).
Member of Kansai Nikikai, Sakai City Opera, Kansai Utagoe Kenkyukai, and others.
Born in Wakayama Prefecture and currently lives in Kobe City.

Yuka Ishida Mezzo Soprano

Graduated from Doshisha Women's University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Music, Performance Major, Vocal Music Course.
In opera, she has appeared in many roles, including Nerone in "The Crowning of Poppea," Mercedes in "Carmen," the title role in "Lucricia," Cherubino and Marcellina in "The Marriage of Figaro," and Drabella in "Così fan tutte.
She has also appeared as a soloist and vocal ensemble in various concerts, including as a soloist in religious works.
He is a member of the Kansai Nikikai.
Part-time lecturer at Otani University.




Kosuke Sekiguchi Piano

Graduated from Kobe University, Faculty of Developmental Sciences, Department of Human Behavior and Expression, and completed a major in music at Osaka College of Music.
He has won many awards, including the 7th Japan Ensemble Competition, 2 Piano Division Best Performer Award and Zen Ongaku Publishing Company Award, the 9th Osaka International Music Competition, 2 Piano Division Highest Prize, the 7th Kayabuki-Do Duo Competition, 1st Prize, and the 26th Settsu Music Festival, Accompaniment Prize.
He is currently a part-time lecturer at Kyoto City University of Arts, Osaka College of Music, and Osaka Seikouin.
She has been an ensemble pianist, mainly for operas, at Sakai City Opera, Kansai Opera Company, Hyogo Performing Arts Center, Biwako Hall of Shiga Performing Arts Center, and others.
Pianist for Minoh Women's Chorus Chor Liebe.
Member of the Japan Federation of Musicians' Associations and the Nishinomiya Music Association.
