Jun Tsujii, violin

 

After graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, he went to Stuttgart University of Music by DAAD. He won the second prize in the violin section of the 50th Japan Music Competition, and was concertmaster of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra from 1984 to 1993.
As a soloist, she has performed concertos with many conductors including Kazuo Yamada and Sharone. In addition to recitals and FM broadcasts throughout Japan, he has participated in many chamber music projects, including Ensemble Vega, Ensemble Kobe, Kyoto Bach Solisten, My Heart String Quartet, and Camonet, and has been a guest concertmaster of the New Japan Philharmonic and others. He has recorded about 300 pieces. He received the 39th Todo Music Award.

 

Yumi Fujii, piano

 

She began playing the piano at the age of four and graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts with a degree in piano from the Faculty of Music. In 1984, she moved to Europe to study with Alexander Jenner in Vienna.

 

She gave her first recital in Kyoto in 1983, followed by recitals in 1985 and 1986, as well as piano duo recitals. She gave her first recital in Kyoto in 1983, followed by recitals in '85 and '86, and piano duo recitals in 2002, and since 2006 has appeared annually at Kyoto Nam Hall in all-Chopin and all-Beethoven recitals.
He has performed concertos with the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Mozart Chamber Orchestra, the Uji City Philharmonic Orchestra, and others. With the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, he has performed concertos by Rachmaninoff, Bach, Adinsel, Gershwin, and others.
In chamber music, he has performed with many instruments including violin and cello, and in 1989, he performed with the Pražák Quartet, the leading string quartet in Czechoslovakia.
