Profile

Nozomi Ueda, clarinet

 

Graduated from Osaka College of Music, and completed the master's course at Juilliard School of Music. She won the first prize at the 68th Japan Music Competition, the Diploma Prize at the 2nd Carl Nielsen International Clarinet Competition, and many other awards. She has performed as a soloist with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Kanazawa, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, Izumi Sinfonietta Osaka, etc. She received the Keizo Saji Award from the Suntory Music Foundation in 2006 as the next mushroom promotion and the Music He received the Critic's Club Award for Encouragement as Ensemble Kujoyama in 2008. He has been invited to perform at music festivals in Japan and abroad, including the Bartók Festival (Hungary), Daegu International Contemporary Music Festival (Korea), Cervantino Music Festival (Mexico), Venice Biennale (Italy), and Suntory Summer Festival (Tokyo). Currently, he is a part-time lecturer at Osaka College of Music and Kyoto City University of Arts, and a member of Izumi Sinfonietta Osaka.

Ayako Hoki, piano

 

Born in Kyoto Prefecture. She studied ballet and piano from an early age, and her love for the piano began when she played Beethoven's "Piano Sonata No. 8" in her first year of junior high school, and her musical life began in earnest. 18 years old, she went to France and graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. He won a prize in the Epinal International Competition (France). He has won many prizes including the Contemporary Music Prize at the Forum de Normandie.
