Eriko Ueno, piano

 

After graduating from the Kyoto City University of Arts with a Bachelor of Music degree, he went on to complete a Master of Music degree at the same university.
Studied abroad in Paris, France. Diploma with first prize in chamber music at the Conservatoire National de Musique de Gennevilliers. Graduated from the Conservatoire de la Musique Schola Cantorum in Paris with the highest honors.
First Prize in the 15th Wakayama Music Competition. First Prize and the Superintendent of Education Prize at the 15th Wakayama Prefecture High School Vocal Piano Competition. She won a prize at the 19th National Piano Audition of the Japan Piano Teachers Association. In 2013, she won the third prize at Les Crédoles International Music Competition.
She has performed as a soloist with the Polish National Krakow Chamber Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Wakayama Symphony Orchestra, and others, and has performed chamber music with the principal players of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and other artists in Japan and abroad. She has also performed in recitals in Japan and France, and is expected to continue her activities in the future.
She studied piano under Noriko Ikehara, Keiri Nakano, Haruko Ueda, Hiroyuki Abe, and Theodor Paraschivesco, and chamber music under Jean-Claude Bouvres. In addition to performing as a soloist and chamber musician, he is also actively involved in teaching younger students as a competition judge.
