He has performed with many orchestras and ensembles in Japan and abroad, including the New Japan Philharmonic, the Tokyo Philharmonic, and the Kanagawa Philharmonic.
He is highly acclaimed as a pianist who combines intelligence and sensitivity,
He is one of the few Japanese pianists to receive the title of Bösendorfer Artist.
He is frequently invited to give recitals at the International Mozart Festival in Italy.
In 2016-2010, he held a concert of the complete Mozart Piano Sonatas.
He has given numerous concerts and recordings of historical instruments from the 18th and 19th centuries.
He has released 17 CDs, including "Elegant Mozart" (Mainichi Newspaper CD Special Recommendation, Record Geijutsu Special Recognition),
Beethoven: Therese, Waldstein" was praised by Gramophone magazine as "the best Beethoven by any measure.
He graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and completed the graduate course at the same university.
His publications include "Chopin to Pleyel Piano" (Gakken Plus) and "Mozart Piano Music Study" (Ongaku no Tomo Sha).
