[Synopsis.

A sequel to Disney & Pixar's animated film "Inside Head," which was set in the world of human "emotions" and won the Best Animated Feature at the 2016 and 88th Academy Awards.

The Joy, Sadness, Icari, Muncha, and Jumpy emotions that have watched over Riley since she was a child spend their days struggling to help her adjust to her new school and live happily ever after as she makes new friends. Then one day, a mysterious alarm goes off in Riley's head as she faces a turning point in her life as she prepares to enter high school. What appeared before the bewildered Joy and her friends were new emotions for adulthood: "Simpai," who imagines the worst future, "Iner," who is always envious of someone else, "Dally," who is always bored & lethargic, and "Hazukashi," who is always mopey and shy.

Following the previous film, Meg LeFauve wrote the screenplay and Kelsey Mann, who served as story supervisor on "Monsters University," directed the film.
